What does the credit card error "3D Secure Authentication Failed" mean?
3D Secure Authentication Failed is returned from Stripe if the credit card used has additional authentication steps that were not completed.
3D Secure Authentication Failed is returned from Stripe if the credit card used has additional authentication steps that were not completed.
The investor should either go through the Stripe flow again and confirm that the additional authentication was completed successfully, or use a different payment method. Re-initiating the fund movement via API will result in the same error, as our system is not able to complete the missing authentication steps required of the card holder.
