How do I know if an escrow investment is eligible for closing?

The following items need to be completed in order for an investor to be eligible for closing:

1. Funds must be in a "Settled" status in escrow. 
   • Pending, Returned, and Refund Pending statuses are not eligible to be included in a closing.
2. Total net funds available must be greater than $0.00. 
   • If a full refund has been processed for the transaction, this would mean that the funds are no longer available to close in the escrow account.
3. AML check must be passed.
   
   • If the person's name is a 90% or more match to a person on any of the AML lists that North Capital checks against, we will require a copy of the person's U.S. Government Issued photo ID or passport in order to manually approve the person.
4. There must be no refund request submitted for the funds
   • If there is a refund pending for the investment, you cannot close on the funds.
