      How does real-time payment process with Stipe work?

      Real-time payment processing through Stripe is now offered by North Capital. Please see the following important points about this feature:

      • It will be know within seconds if the payment is successful or not. If the payment is unsuccessful, the Payment Status will update to "Returned" and likewise, if the payment is successful, a "Submitted" status will show.
      • After the payment is processed, it will then take 4-5 business days for the payment to be received into the escrow account. At that time, the Payment Status will be updated to "Settled".
      • To get notification of the Payment Status update, please utilize the updateCCFundStatus webhook.
      • There is no ability to VOID a credit card payment with real-time payment processing enabled. A return will need to be initiated for any credit card trade cancelation.
